Pandit Baskaran is known for his powerful and devotional yagya fire ceremonies. A yagya is a traditional Vedic practice to gain support from nature, dissolve negative energies, connect to the Divine and experience greater health, happiness and wealth in life.

The origin and purpose of yagya

Yagyas are special sacrifices, performances or rituals originating from the ancient Vedic culture. In a yagya, a fire is kindled and then into that fire is poured ghee (clarified butter) with the mantra 'swaha' (I surrender with devotion) alongside the chanting of other mantras and offerings, depending on which Deva (law of nature) the yagya is for. Yagyas are known to have a very powerful effect if the performer is using their full awareness established in transcendence. Full awareness means a full flow of soma (consciousness) is given to the Deva of the yagya. This flow of soma establishes a relationship between the performer and the laws of nature for which the yagya is being performed. The reciprocity of this mutual exchange of attention and awareness brings great expansion, support of nature and bliss into ones life.

These fire ceremonies are usually performed at Pandit Baskaran’s meditation centre ‘Silence Dynamism Palace’ in Chennai, India. However, if you’d like Panditji to perform a ceremony as part of your retreat experience, he can do it anywhere in India.
